Adelaide Clemens

Brisbane in Australia is my birthplace and where I was raised. She is the daughter of an English dad. Clemens's acting career started during her senior year of high school. The actress guest starred on an episode of Blue Water High as Juliet and, in 2007, she appeared in the children's series Pirate Islands: The Lost Treasure of Fiji as Alison. Clemens was nominated at the Logie Awards in 2008 for her character, Harper, in Showtime's drama Love My Way. She won the Graham Kennedy Award and the prize for Most Outstanding New Talent. Clemens appeared as a character in Dream Life, a 2008 MTV Networks Australia drama film with Sigrid Thonton Xavier Samuel Linda Cropper and Andrew McFarlane. She also had minor roles as a character in All Saints in 2009 and X-Men Origins Wolverine. The next season, Clemens changed to the model for Jan Logan jewelery. Clemens moved from California to Los Angeles in 2009. Clemens starred in the 2010 movie Wasted on the Young as Xandrie. Clemens was in Camilla Dickinson (2012) together with Gregg Sulkin Cary Elwes Samantha Mathis. The film was a re-imagining of the 1951 novel of similar title written by young adult fiction author Madeleine L'Engle.She played the role of a teenager Heather Mason in Silent Hill: Revelation 3D. The film's horror plot was based on the survival horror game Silent Hill 3 and was a sequel to the film Silent Hill.That year Clemens was also in a leading role as the young suffragette Valentine Wannop in Parade's End the TV mini-series version to Silent Hill, a Ford Madox Ford tetra-logy co-produced by HBO and BBC Two. Clemens played the role in 2012's terror film, No One Lives starring Luke Evans. She also appeared as a character in The Great Gatsby, based on F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel with the same title. She played Catherine the sister of Myrtle Wilson played by Isla Fisher. Clemens plays Tawney in Rectify which was a 2012 Sundance Channel miniseries written by Ray McKinnon. Natalie Dormer Stephen Graham Zachary Quinto and Clemens are set to appear on The Girl Who Invented Kissing A film by an independent filmmaker.
